Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss' first taste of fame as a fiddler came in 1990, when she was 19 years old and received the Grammy Award in the category of Best Bluegrass Album. This was an incredible feat that was not just due to the fact that Krauss was young, and also due to the fact that I've Got That Old Feeling was the third album in her library. Too Late To Cry is her first album. It came out in Champaign Illinois when Krauss was 16. In the year 14 she signed an agreement with Rounder Records - one of the world's top folk music labels. Krauss was always renowned for her extraordinary virtuosity, and achievements, even at such a young age. The devotion she has to bluegrass music which is among the most enduring and unappreciated styles of the American culture, is an ongoing feature. Krauss is now an experienced music producer and musician, having gained experience from her time as a teenager sensation. Alison Alison Alison
