Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American actress, voice, and film actor. She was alive from January 31, 1937, until January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her professional career in the theater, and was a part of films during the latter half of the 1950s. Later, she appeared in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette was a regular guest on various TV shows. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on January 31 1937 in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1] and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who worked under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at both the Paramount Theater and the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
